  • What are Out of Network Benefits?
    Out of network benefits simply mean that we do not take your insurance and you will be required to pay upfront and then get reimbursed directly by your insurance carrier. Some insurances do have deductibles. Please refer to the list of questions to ask your insurance carrier when contacting them. If you are concerned that you will have to pay full price, no worries, we are here to help and have partnered with a third-party company that can help with this.
  • How much will my insurance reimburse me if I use my out of network benefits?
    Most insurances reimburse between 70-80% of the rate (please contact your insurance for this information). For example, if the cost per session is $150.00 and your insurance reimburses at 80%, they will reimburse you in the amount of $120.00. You will end up paying just a fragment of the fee, $30.00, which is equivalent to your co-pay responsibility.
  • How can I get reimbursed?
    We have partnered with a company who is the middleman for helping you get reimbursed by your insurance company. Please refer to the What are out of Network benefits section above.
  • Reduced Fees?
    Reduced fee services are available on a limited basis and will need to be discussed with the office.
  • Payments?
    All major credit cards are accepted for payment and before each session is conducted. Cash is also accepted, yet credit cards are encouraged.
  • Cancellation Policy?
    $100.00 Late Cancellation fee (less than 24 hours) No show fees are equivalent to one full rate session. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session as these appointments are exclusively set aside for you.

Insurance:

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance. Please check your coverage carefully by asking the following questions:

  • Is mental health or behavioral health covered with my insurance benefits?

  • What is my deductible and has it been met?

  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?

  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session and at what percentage will I be covered for?

  • Is prior approval required?

  • Is there an app to submit my invoices (also called superbills)?  If not, where should I mail it to?

 

Please note if you have an insurance that we do not accept, we have partnered with a 3rd party company that can help you with submitting your superbills (invoices) for faster processing.  In addition, they now offer an option where you may only pay a co-pay amount with an additional processing fee. Please refer to out of benefits section for more information.

 

Out of Network Benefits:

We understand how important it is to receive mental health services and how frustrating it can be after discovering your insurance is not accepted. As a courtesy, we have partnered with a third-party company who will submit your claim directly to your insurance carrier.  They offer several options for reimbursement. You may even be eligible to pay only a co-pay. Please contact us for more information.
