Counseling Services
Individual counseling or psychotherapy is where you work with a licensed mental health professional to address your concerns or stressors; with the help of your clinician a specialized and tailored treatment plan is personalized according to your needs.
Family counseling is where you and your family will work with a licensed mental health professional to identify your families’ concerns or stressors. The client is not the individual, but the “family” is established as the client. Each attendee is given the opportunity to discuss their concerns in a safe and compassionate environment while listening to their views and perspective of how they each see the presenting problem.
This type of therapy is provided to individuals seeking to get married. During this time, you and your partner, with the guidance of your clinician will work through a specific program and address any concerns that your relationship may be experiencing or could foresee in the future. In addition, you each will be provided with healthy skills in order to have a successful marriage. Topics addressed are communication, emotional wellness, conflict resolution, your upbringing, along with other topics.
Couples counseling is where you and your partner will work with a licensed mental health professional to address your relationship’s concerns or stressors; a specialized and tailored treatment plan is personalized according to each couple’s needs. The individuals are not the client, but the “relationship” is established as the client.
Christian counseling is a combination of faith and psychotherapy which helps the individual, couple, or family navigate through life’s difficult challenges. Scriptures and biblical teachings are incorporated as well as evidence-based clinical treatment. This type of therapy can be combined with individual, family, couples, or group counseling.
