
Healing Grounds Wellness Center, LLC was founded in September of 2021 by Zachyra Scott- Rodriguez, Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Healing Grounds, believes that healing begins from the time our clients contact us for services. We provide clinical counseling services in a safe supported environment and walk with each of our clients on their journey to wholeness and healing. Therapy is provided by licensed clinicians who utilize evidence based approaches with clinical interventions while integrating a Holistic component; mental, emotional, physical and spiritual. The Healing Grounds Wellness Center's mission is to provide a warm, compassionate, and safe environment where diverse individuals from any ethnicity can find their true freedom to wholeness.

Zachyra Rodriguez, is a Bicultural-Bilingual Licensed Clinician whose motto is “Making a difference in people’s lives”. Her love for God & passion for helping others has driven her to work with many individuals in different settings and backgrounds.
Zachy (“Sashi”) as many know her by, has been providing psychotherapy in English and Spanish to many families, couples, and individuals for several years utilizing eclectic therapeutic approaches. She is a public speaker and has developed pilot programs, facilitates workshops, psychoeducational groups, parenting education, and mentorship programs.
Her specialty in working with clients with trauma, grief, anger management, anxiety, depression, self-esteem and other challenges, has allowed her the privilege of holding people’s most painful moments and helping them towards the road of healing, recovery, and restoration in a warm and safe environment.

Zachy earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology from Wilmington University and a Master’s in Clinical Social Work from Rutgers University. She is a Certified Marriage Specialist and holds a specialized Certificate in Family Development from Rutgers University. In addition, she is a Certified Clinical Anxiety Treatment Practitioner and a Certified Clinical Trauma Practitioner.
In 2018, she founded the Anthony’s Legacy of Love (ALL) Foundation, a nonprofit organization in honor of her 24-year-old son, Anthony. Their mission is to bring autoimmune awareness to the community and help those in need through college scholarships and also to provide essential needs to the community.

Sasha Williams, is a Bilingual Licensed Clinician who prides herself on providing mental health services to her community. Her passion for eradicating the stigma of therapy in communities of color has driven her more holistic work of working with adolescents and their families, as well as adults.
Cultural responsiveness is the key to her approach. She understands the nuance specific to various demographics and prides herself on being adaptive and flexible to meet the needs of her clients. She is passionate about providing equitable opportunities for mental health and welcomes the gamut of backgrounds across genders, ethnic backgrounds, religion- children and adults alike. She understands the distinct challenges both adolescents and adults have as well as the necessary treatment plans for working with both populations and their specific needs. Currently, she offers psychotherapy in English and Spanish to teens and their parents addressing trauma and encouraging healthy communication in the home.
She provides therapy in both individual and group settings and has a wealth of experience developing group curricula, facilitating various training, psychoeducational groups and parenting education.

Through the use of different modalities, she has helped clients find their way by providing psychoeducation, effective coping skills, stress management, self-care, symptom management, and skill building that enhances fulfillment. She is passionate about helping others make the connections needed to live their lives authentically and to the fullest. LaToya strongly believes that “wholeness” is obtainable for everyone, by using an approach that focuses on the client's support, community, and strengths to help address their needs.
LaToya has earned her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Minor in Religion from Rutgers University, and a Master’s in Social Work from Monmouth University

Keyla Carreras, is a dedicated Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the state of New Jersey, holding a Master’s degree in Social Work. With a passion for mental health and a commitment to helping others, Keyla provides compassionate, trauma-informed care to individuals and families.
Specializing in a range of therapeutic approaches, Keyla collaborates with clients to foster healing, build resilience, and promote personal growth in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment.
In addition to clinical practice, Keyla has devoted the past eight years to serving as a Youth Pastor at her local church, building meaningful connections with young people and their families. This dual role has enhanced Keyla’s ability to address diverse needs with empathy and cultural sensitivity.
As a bilingual practitioner, Keyla offers therapy in both English and Spanish, ensuring accessibility for Spanish-speaking individuals and communities. With a strong foundation in trauma-informed care, Keyla is dedicated to creating spaces where clients feel understood, empowered, and supported as they navigate their mental health journeys.

Edison Jaquez, is a licensed bilingual therapist (English and Spanish) who brings warmth, clarity, and a deeply grounded presence to his work with individuals, families, and couples.
He believes that healing is not just about acquiring tools, but about creating emotional safety, cultivating spiritual connection, and returning home to self, love, and community.
Edison has over a decade of experience in clinical work and nonprofit leadership. His work is shaped by a strong commitment to service and cultural awareness. Clients often describe him as compassionate, nonjudgmental, and deeply supportive. He creates a soft, brave space where people can slow down, process what’s difficult, and begin to rebuild what feels sacred and lost.
Edison works with clients navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, PTSD, substance abuse, and addictions, as well as relationship challenges. His clinical and holistic approach draws from cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness practices, and faith integration when requested.
Edison holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. He is also certified in both pastoral counseling and couples counseling, and his work is especially attuned to those seeking a therapeutic space that honors the complexities of both emotional, mental, and spiritual healing.
At the heart of his approach is the belief that healing isn’t a performance — it’s a practice. And while that practice can sometimes feel messy, it can also be a path back to clarity, purpose, and genuine self-love. Edison is honored to walk alongside his clients as they move beyond survival and toward transformation.

Growing up as a military brat, Shaddai experienced a life of adaptability and resilience, values she carries into her role at Healing Grounds. Bilingual and passionate about serving others, Shaddai enjoys connecting with individuals from diverse backgrounds and creating an inclusive environment.
As the Administrative Coordinator, Shaddai is dedicated to supporting the center’s holistic mission of emotional, spiritual, mental, and physical well-being. Her organizational skills and faith-driven passion allow her to contribute meaningfully to the practice, ensuring clients feel welcomed and supported in their journey toward healing.
Outside of work, Shaddai enjoys spending time with her family and serving in and outside of church. Her ultimate passion is to make a difference and be who God created her to be, inspiring her children, family, and others to love God.

Kimberly Rojas is a bilingual Administrative Assistant at Healing Grounds Wellness Center. She brings a strong commitment to providing a seamless and welcoming experience for all clients. Her ability to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish allows her to effectively assist a diverse client base, contributing to the inclusive and supportive environment that defines the organization.
Kimberly holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from St. Peter’s University. Her academic background provides her with a deeper understanding of mental health and client needs, aligning well with the mission of Healing Grounds Wellness Center. She brings both professionalism and empathy to her role, striving to give each client the best experience with our services.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kimberly values quality time with her daughter and enjoys going on walks and discovering new places together. Her personal interests reflect a curious and nurturing spirit, which she brings into her work environment. Kimberly remains committed to personal growth and contributing meaningfully to the community.
